Meet Bianca Torres

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bianca Torres.

Hi Bianca, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I was born in Dallas and moved to Grand Prairie in the early 2000s, so I have seen this city grow! I am a first-generation Mexican American and have always enjoyed organizing and planning events. For a while, I did my research, practiced my craft, and definitely took notes. One day in 2022, I finally got the courage to make Beevents a reality! I have met so many incredible people during my journey and have had so much fun making connections. Being able to work with others and creating bonds has been amazing. I have to give a big shout-out to my husband for all of his support and creativity that he brings to Beevents.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I think with every business, you have to start somewhere. Sure, right now, you might not be getting thousands of likes on Instagram or hundreds of orders, but good things take time. Keep believing in yourself and put yourself out there.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I currently work full-time for a financial institution and have worked in the financial crimes industry for several years. I enjoy what I do; I am just ready to have my other talents come to life. Especially if I can help others create their perfect day and take the stress out of their hands. I love when things go together, and I put my heart into everything I do and create. Beevents is here to help! No event is too small because it’s about creating memories and enjoying the moment. We also, Hablamos español!

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Event Coordinators are definitely being seeked out more now because there is so much when it comes to planning an event that sometimes 24 hours is just not enough in one day. Life can be busy with work, school, family, etc., and on top of that, you have to plan a party of 200. So yes, I am hopeful for the future and look forward to seeing what trends social media has in store for us.
