Inspiring Conversations with Felicia Lucero of ‘M.A.Z.I.N.G. Grace Naturals

Today we’d like to introduce you to Felicia Lucero.

Hi Felicia, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I started making my own skincare products in 2013. At that time, I was not selling them, I was only making products for my husband, who suffers from psoriasis, and my daughter, who suffered from eczema as a child. I was seeking a way out of using the medicated steroid creams, which exacerbated their skin problems. When I started making my own organic skincare products, I saw my family’s skin start to look healthier. I continued using my own and ditched the doctors’ recommendations of steroid creams. I started my company, M. Grace Naturals in 2019.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Getting the word out about a great product is a difficult task in itself. You have to gain the trust of the consumer. I decided to trademark my brand in 2019, and it was held up for almost 2 years because of pushback from a multi-billion-dollar company. In the end, I gained the rights to my trademark. So now ‘M. Grace Naturals is a nationally recognized, trademarked brand.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about ‘M.A.Z.I.N.G. Grace Naturals, LLC?
My name is Felicia Lucero. I am the founder of ‘M. Grace Naturals. I am a mother, a wife, and a grandmother, amongst many other titles. I genuinely believe organic products are not only best for you but gives you peace of mind knowing you made the right choice. After many unsuccessful years of using processed ointments and prescription steroid creams for my family, I decided to discontinue using them all! I set out on a mission to create an organic product for my loved ones, something that worked without the ugly side effects. I needed to create something the whole family could benefit from. I now call that creation ‘M. Grace Naturals! By choosing the best natural ingredients and using the right methods, I have created a line of products we can all feel good about. Created with these hands, each jar is made with pure love. I am also the CEO of my husband’s commercial construction company of 16 years (TP&R Construction), @and I am 1/2 duo of the mother/son team at my son’s organic juice company Herb’n Swigg here in Desoto.

We have two laboratories (juice lab and skincare lab) and a mini farm where we have chickens, two Dobermans and we grow our own organic food.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
We currently have a storefront in Desoto. In the next 5-10 years, I see my products being USDA certified and on the shelves of big box stores.
