Today we’d like to introduce you to DeShae Weatherly.
Hi DeShae, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I stared doing nails in 2011, and I’ve always struggled with finding quality products, I decided to invest in making my own products in 2018 to save on money and to mix the acrylic to where I could work with no matter the ratio. In 2020 I started getting more into selling my product to the public to help other nail techs find quality products that work with you and not you work with it.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road; I have always doubted myself when it came to selling products and afraid that people would not like my products. I’m from a small town in Georgia where the support is not common unless you been known in the city or make yourself known, I was known for doing nails but when I decided to want to make products I received so much backlash and doubt from my own community, there were a few supporters who I thank daily because they kept pushing me beyond my self-doubt. In 2022 I packed up my bags and decided to move to Dallas, I also stop doing nails full time to focus on making acrylic powders and press ons full time. The road here in Texas has been better in less than a year versus many years in my hometown. I know there will be more bumpy roads in the future, but I know now how to face those bumps and smooth them out.

I own a nail acrylic powder line that is made for beginner nail techs or for vet nail techs who love to control their products when doing nails. It starts with the quality in the product. I am known for hand-mixing all my acrylic powders with the best consistency in the industry. I am most proud of the quality I provide with my products and the customer service I give to my customers. I want every nail tech that read this to know that I understand finding quality products is hard or too expensive, I have came up with a solution to all your problems and have an acrylic line with products that will work on your time.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
My customer service and my passion for nails. I have the ability to understand what nail techs go through when it comes to spending money on products that just don’t work for you.
