Today we’d like to introduce you to Laterrica Rose.
Hi Laterrica, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
Prior to opening Bare Aesthetics & Co., I was working in Murphy doing lashes for 3 years. I was promoted to being the Studio Manager and also earned my Master Lash Artist certificate. Working there taught me how to be consistent and build relationships with my clients. After a while, I felt like the growing stopped. I ended up quitting my job with no backup plan, yet it felt like the right thing to do. A few months roll by, and God planted this idea in my head to be my own boss and to work independently. I felt super unqualified to do so. I thought it was a silly idea. One day I was running errands and I drove by Mattison Avenue Salon Suites in Richardson and just thought, “I’ll just stop by and see what it looks like”. A day later, I ended up signing my lease. Still very unsure what I just did. I stepped out on faith and God has been providing for me and my business ever since. I pray that he continues to work through me and to help me meet my perfect clients!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has its ups and downs. I will say, don’t get too high in your highs and to low in your lows. Hustling doesn’t get me anywhere. Being ambitious does. No matter what struggles come along, I make sure I’m doing my part and making sure my clients walk out satisfied. As simple as that may sound, it really it just that simple. God truly takes care of me and whatever struggles come along.

I am a Sr. Lash Technician. I specialize in lash extensions, lash lifts, lash and brow tints, and brow laminations. I will say I am known for my wispy lash sets! I love to be creative when it comes to this art of mine. I am the most proud of my ability to connect with each and every client I have, even the quiet ones. What sets me apart from others is just having that true friendship/relationship with my clients. I like to get to know each client that supports my business. I also still honor the clients that like to come in and simply just take a nap and decompress from their busy schedules. I love for my clients to be seen and know that my space in a safe space.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up.
I’d have to say when I was maybe 5 or 6, but I would go outside and collect bugs and put them in a little box and wondered why they died haha! It’s funny because the woman I am now would never touch a bug with my own bare hands. It’s funny to know how fearless I was back then.
