Hi Sarena, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started in July 2020, one of my closest friends and I had a vision board party. I listed Above Reproach Boutique on my vision board. It was a truly a God idea on down to the name. That’s the day I gave birth to the business. The following year Aug 2021, I opened the business. Today we’re still going strong and getting better by the day.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
In the beginning, it was smoother than I envision it would be, and from what I’ve read in business books; however, there are challenges that arise because I’m still new to everything. I think my biggest challenge was myself. Getting myself out the way. Going from working a 9-5 to being a full-time entrepreneur has its anxiety, excitement, fulfillment, and stress all in one, but after looking back it was my control to play it safe and nothing about Being an entrepreneur is safe, but I absolutely Love it!

We are a top In-store and Online fashion boutique that specialize in fashionable clothing, shoes, handbags, and accessories.
I think what sets us apart from our competitors is our ~> Service – Providing Top Notch Customer Service – the majority of all my customers know my name, and I know there’s, I know their families, etc… It’s not just a transaction but an experience. I take pride in making sure everyone feel welcome and seen. Of course, there are other factors like the speed of receiving your online order, etc., but our # 1 will always be our service.
We sell the latest, most trendiest fashionable pieces in sizes small up to 3X. We receive new shipment weekly. Customers have the option to order online and pick up in-store. And if ordered before 12pm in your time zone online you can receive your item the next day.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you.
I don’t believe in luck; I believe with God, all things are possible to whoever believes. When you look at your life from God perspective, you realize that ALL things work together for your good. Life will never be without its challenges, but you have to believe even those challenges will be worked for your good.
