Tatiana, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’ve been baking for six years come July. When I first started baking, I just made cupcakes, and I’ll never forget how delicious they smelled, but when it came time to taste test, the smell didn’t match the flavor. I was quite disappointed, but it didn’t make me less determined to continue. I’ve progressed throughout the years to making realistic cakes, pudding, maple tarts, cookies, etc.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being unable to please everyone is, in my opinion, the biggest problem. There will always be someone who will be critical of you, no matter what you do. I also battle with not being happy with my presentation. I constantly think I could have done better.
Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Because I want to be recognized for my realistic cakes, I refer to myself as a cake artist. Due to the fact that I am self-taught and find it amazing that I can make a concept come to life, I am most proud of these specific cakes. I am unique among individuals since I love to bake and make people smile when they consume my treats.

I just want to say something to all the business owners out there. Never give up!!! Work hard and consistently, and it will pay off in the end.
