Today we’d like to introduce you to Christina Hobbs. They and their team shared their story with us below:
The Dallas housing market never stops changing, and Christina Hobbs never stops learning! As a Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA), Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), and a Luxury Home Specialist, she offers her clients the very best in customer service. Christina began at a boutique brokerage and quickly established herself as a team lead responsible for training, mentoring, and recruiting new agents. Today, she is a top agent, utilizing her knowledge and research of market trends to provide a tailored approach to every client.
Originally from a small Texas town called Gun Barrel City, Christina put herself through college while working and caring for her parents. She studied Interior Design and Accounting, two areas she draws on throughout her career as a real estate agent. Christina’s invaluable skill set allows her to not only help her clients envision their future homes but also to advise them on loan options and investing.
Believing that buying or selling a home is more than just a transaction, Christina loves making the process fun for her clients. Organized and dedicated, she helps them remain calm during what may often seem a stressful situation. She loves working with people and providing resources to make things easier. Her knowledge of the local scene in Dallas is now an asset to her buyers wanting to learn about the city.
Outside of her real estate career, Christina enjoys exploring Dallas. She considers herself a bit of a foodie who loves to try new restaurants, coffee shops, parks, and attractions.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I have faced a variety of challenges when navigating the ever-changing real estate market, including unforeseen major repairs, flooding, switching lenders, and more. Whether I am helping clients purchase or sell a home, I believe it’s important to educate my clients and let them know that we may face obstacles. However, I have not faced a challenge I could not find a solution to, so I always remind them that we will be able to solve any problems that come up. Through my experience as an agent, my network of lenders and contractors, and Douglas Elliman team, I have always come up with a creative solution. In my opinion, obstacles are inevitable but only make you a stronger agent.
Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a realtor specializing in first-time home buyers, luxury homes, and the central Dallas area.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
My referrals. I really take the time to get to know each of my clients in order to understand their wants and needs. I don’t just help people buy or sell a house; my list of services are far beyond my job duties. I help clients find a great designer, get their locks changed, set up appointments with handymen, set up their utilities, and much more. I am grateful for my clients who recommended me to their friends and family after their positive experience working with me so I can continue to grow my network.
