Meet Amber Boyd of Core One Real Estate

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amber Boyd.

Amber, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My life goal was to own my own real estate company by the time I was 25 years old. In 2015 I opened Core One Real Estate at the age of 25 and have been moving and shaking ever since. I have a servants heart and enjoy working hand in hand with my agents to help them achieve their goals. I also enjoy to work with my clients and help them in any way that I can besides just trying to collect a commission check.

By me taking the time and energy to invest in my agents I have seen a huge increase in my personal business. I feel that by blessing others and their businesses God has blessed my business because of that. I feel that by being a young entrepreneur it speaks volumes to my agents and to my colleagues. I am now 27 years old with 23 agents and growing each day.

Has it been a smooth road?
With starting any company, they have definitely been growing pains. Some of the struggles along the way have been finding like-minded people to help grow the company. I have now formed a group of agents that seem to have the same goals and want the same things in their business as well. This has made a huge difference.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Core One Real Estate story. Tell us more about the business.
I have formed a Hybrid company that specializes in Apartment Locating as well as Residential Real Estate. There are companies that have never heard of apartment locating and think that it is not worth their time. There are also companies that only do apartment locating and not anything else. I have taken this to a whole new level. I have 7 years experience in Apartment Locating as well as residential sales. I have started a company that does not limit the agents to one or the other.

I allow them to spread their wings and have the opportunity to pursue any avenue to making money in real estate. I feel that this sets me apart from most real estate brokerages. We truly care about our clients and want the best for them. We all have a servants heart and really go above and beyond our call of duty to make sure the clients have the best experience possible. We are able to help a client get into their apartment and then stay in touch with them until they are ready for homeownership.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I see the industry changing and evolving over time. I feel that the rental rates are going to continue to rise as well as mortgages. With prices rising it may be difficult to help people find affordable places to live so we will have to continue to work hard for the clients to get them into their dream homes.
