Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Jazmine Warden.
Hi Dr. Warden, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
I was born to two foreigners. My mother was from St. Thomas, Jamaica, and father a Jamaican native from London, England. They came to the States when they were shy of their teens to early 20s and met in Bridgeport, Connecticut, where they then conceived my brother and I. From Connecticut, my mother’s job moved us to the great state of Texas for me at the age of 2. I have been living here since. I ran AAU and USA track and field while in grade school. I Graduated from Mansfield Timberview Highschool where I also won regionals as well as state in Track and Field. My mother was a single mother juggling two jobs and was unable to put my brother and I through college, and she did her best. I was able to take my talents in track and academics to being granted a scholarship to run division I collegiate track at Houston Baptist University. I finished my track career following graduation with a bachelor’s in Kinesiology. I then went on to pursue my Doctorate in Chiropractic at Parker University. I chose to become a Chiropractor because of the way Chiropractic has helped and influenced me all throughout my life. It is my belief that the body was made to heal itself and I have watched far too many people close to me become addicted to medication and opioid abuse that I felt it was my obligation to my community and others to make a change. I am now the Doctor at Palmercare Las Colinas in Irving, TX and I treat everyone from newborns to pregnant mothers, geriatrics, adolescence, and more! It is my utmost passion, and I love getting to help people on their journey to optimal health and wellness. Being able to make a difference in someone’s life for the best brings a legacy and relation that is beyond a greater than the gift of gratitude.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Putting my trust in God is the only way that I have made it to where I am today and how I have achieved all my successes in life thus far. There will always be turmoil but think not onto your own understanding. I know that the challenges I have faced were there to prepare me for what was in store!
As you know, we’re big fans of Palmercare Chiropractic – Las Colinas. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about the brand?
