Meet Dom & Devin Realezt of RZT Development Group

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dom & Devin Realezt.

Hi Dom & Devin, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
We have been friends for 12 years, but the idea of REALEZT began during covid. We have always been heavily influenced by music and creating in general, always bouncing our wildest ideas off of each other; we ultimately learned the power our two minds had together.

Prior to the pandemic, we would go to shows every chance we could inevitably becoming obsessed by the live concert music experience after a certain point. We decided we didn’t want to be in the crowd anymore. Covid was an opportunity for us to invest time to learn about building a brand as well as music production in general. We wrote a lot of awful songs during this time but we learned so much and had fun doing so.

We knew being in Amarillo at the time the EDM scene was nonexistent so we decided we should network and try to get integrated with the Dallas scene. We slowly started getting smaller opening slots playing many empty rooms, and we enjoyed every minute of it. Two years later with a lot of effort, work, and persistence, our brand has grown into what it is today.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely was not the easiest path we could have taken, and we’ve sacrificed so much to make this happen. We avoided the corporate life knowing if we began down that road we would have been trapped. The hardest part was changing our mindset from an employee to an investor/entrepreneur. Knowing that they think and see the world different from everyone else puts it into perspective that what we had instilled in us from a young age by family, educators, and mentors has been entirely wrong but came with good intentions. Most people were spitting opinions on success rather than facts that have been passed down from generation to generation. We are still very thankful for these people many still being in our lives, and we love them, but we know we are meant to do more and that version of life was never going to be enough for us.

We’ve been impressed with RZT DEVELOPMENT GROUP, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are Real Estate Investors by day using creative financing, our network of investors, and the lessons as well as knowledge our mentors have given us to create passive income/wealth. Doing this, we realized financial freedom is something much more attainable than most people think you just have to be creative and mitigate risk.

Devin and I ultimately want to put ourselves in a position to help others, especially creatives. By doing so, it will allow people to fund what they truly want to do simultaneously creating wealth. We are not there yet and have so much more to accomplish, but we have a good plan in place and have to do it ourselves before we can teach.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
You have to simply just be willing to put yourself out there. You will get rejected, but eventually, someone will want to help. Networking is about building relationships, emphasis on the relationship part. Find groups on social media, local meetings, go to where these people are, and be SEEN. Eventually, the relationship will build itself, but people have to know you exist and that are a good person first.
