Today we’d like to introduce you to Raelon Moore.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I have always been a lover for Beauty and Film. Being the first grandchild and niece, I always had my family’s support to use them as guinea pigs to try whatever makeup looks and hairstyles I wanted to do. With film, my passion for creating was passed down from my dad. He’s a short film director and writer. Plus, there wasn’t a time my family didn’t have a camera out to catch every moment of my life, from birthdays and school programs to me just being me on our living room.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road to my success has been pretty smooth. Most of it being because this is the lane I was born to be in. I constantly thank God that I am able to create in all aspects that interest me. When I’m working hard, creating, styling, filming, and editing, it doesn’t feel like work or a job. It’s my passion, so being able to do it daily and make a living is truly a blessing!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
If anyone was to ask me what it is that I do for a living, my professional answer is to say that I’m a professional Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist. I hold two cosmetology licenses in both California and Texas, and I freelance my work to assure my clients can always count on me to be any and everywhere that they need me. I would also say that I’m a Content Creator, and I create Beauty, Special Effects, Cosplay, and Lifestyle content on all the major platforms, I.E. Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Although all of this is true, I feel as if it puts me into a standard box of a “Beauty Influencer” or a just makeup artist, which is one of the top professions today. But I’m much more than that.
Whether you ask my family and friends, clients, previous employers, or anyone that I’ve cross paths with, they would say that I am a Life-Giving Person that is intelligent, obliging, innovative, and devoted to making those around me feel loved and encouraged.
Yes, I specialize in creating the most naturally beautiful makeup looks and hairstyles, and I have a gift for storytelling through visuals, but what I’m most proud of are the attributes that make me Me! And I thank God and my parents for creating me in such a humbled loving light.
I believe my keen enterprising skill set is what sets me apart from others. Once I’m met with a certain look or idea for content, my creativity and love for what I do always prevails in assuring my finished look or visual creations are exceptional to both myself and others.
What makes you happy?
Being around my family and friends, trying something new, and experiencing new things/places makes me the happiest. There’s a certain love and comfortability I have with my loved ones that always puts me in a happy nostalgic mood. Being able to experience new things and travel to different places is always a Blessing that overcomes my heart with joy and gratitude. Especially when I’m able to achieve checking new places off of my Goal List.
