Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicci Levy.

Hi Nicci, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself. 
I have worked in beauty for all of my professional career, starting in cosmetics and skincare. I made the jump to medical aesthetics in 2009, going to work at Allergan as a Business Development Manager for Botox Cosmetic, Juvederm, and Latisse. It was there that I first had the idea for Alchemy 43. I noticed a true white space given the incredibly high and growing demand for injectable services and the lack of focus around patient experience. I left Allergan in 2012 and went to two medical aesthetics start-ups to learn what it would be like to launch something new in the space. From there, I wrote a business plan and raised enough capital to open my first location. Next month we will open our 10th location. 

Dallas has been such an incredible market for us. We have two locations in the Dallas area (Lakewood and Plano) and are excited to continue to expand in Dallas. The community here is incredibly strong, and the clients here are very savvy. We’ve been welcomed with open arms, and as a female founder, I’ve enjoyed connecting with other Dallas business leaders as well. We are all in this together, and I love to support, partner, and collaborate with other entrepreneurs. 

I also love the focus and prioritization around self-care and wellness here. Dallas clientele are truly sophisticated and very intentional about how and where they spend their time and money. I have huge respect and admiration for that. 

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The journey has been incredible. Absolutely full of ups and downs and rich with learnings. Navigating through the pandemic and all the uncertainty around that was definitely the scariest time. Fortunately, we made smart decisions early on and had amazing support from our stakeholders and team. Demand for these services has remained strong and even surged coming out of it, and we have solidified our place within our communities. I am so grateful for that. 

Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about ALCHEMY 43?
ALCHEMY 43 is an aesthetics brand specializing in microtreatments, and we have a whole new take on wellness routines. We freshen up your look with next-level specialists, products, and technology. 

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
The rate at which this industry is growing and evolving is mind-blowing. The size of the industry is expected to double by the end of 2025. I attribute that to a couple of things:

1) Much more transparency from consumers. People are more open with their networks about receiving these services. The stigma surrounding them has really gone away. 

2) New demographics starting to use injectable services. People starting at a younger age and more males being a large driver of that. 

As for ALCHEMY 43 specifically, our mission is for ALCHEMY 43 to become THE leading, trusted destination for cosmetic injectables nationally. We will expand to over 200 locations across the country.
