Rising Stars: Meet Kleine Powell

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kleine Powell.

Kleine Powell

Hi Kleine, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2021 with a degree in Digital Media and Design and a minor in Japanese Language! I moved to Dallas following my graduation and applied for the Social Media Manager position with MarketCrest Marketing in Legacy West, Plano. Since then, I have loved creating graphics, producing podcasts, and doing design requests for our clients, and have since had several promotions. My current title is Digital Media Specialist, and I am looking forward to all the exciting things we have going on this year!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Like all businesses, clients, and customers come and go. At MarketCrest, we are always learning and evolving in order to stay at the top of our game! I’ve learned a lot along the way, and I am excited to keep growing as a designer and video editor.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I make specialized social media designs, logos, video edits, and photo edits for in-house use and for our clients. I personally love working with Adobe products for video editing and graphic design. What sets me apart as a designer is the fact that I never run out of inspiration. I go for the bolder side of things- I’d rather have a client tell me to scale back than to make them ask for more!

We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
Nothing stays the same. I’ve learned that that statement is more of a blessing than a curse!
