Moon, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Growing up on a farm, I had the ability to interact with both domestic and wildlife. My father and grandfather both gave me the view and the knowledge on how to communicate and interact with the animals to give the trust to help heal and save them.
Taking my knowledge from my childhood, I have always brought forth and passed it on to my children to help save the animals. I have always loved animal and felt the desire to save them and to be their voice.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Yes, and no, it has been smooth on some ends and a struggle on the other. Trying to get started, I didn’t have any mentors to ask questions to help me get started. I had to do all the research myself acquire the items I needed for my training and my supplies. It was an extreme struggle. But once my rescue was started, things began to become smoother along the way because I knew my strength, and my fight, and my passion is what would continue to guide me to be successful…

Wildlife Rescue:
I am the owner of Spiritual Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation Sanctuary. My wildlife sanctuary specializes in neonate, orphans, critical wildlife with head or spinal injuries, metabolic bone disease.
We specialize in bobcat, wolves, cougars, jaguars, Panthers, mountain lions, or all native wildcat, coyotes, foxes and exotics.
How do you define success?
Success is defined by the beautiful smile and look in the eyes of any animal that we rescue- to us; it means they understand that we are there to save them and to care for them.
