Today we’d like to introduce you to Adrianna Aguirre.
Hi Adrianna, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I would say it has been an interesting journey getting to where I got to today. I started out with little to no experience when I first started my business. I had no knowledge of what it would be like to run your own business; I just got up and go out there. I have learned so much throughout the years, the good, the bad, and the ugly! I had to learn that not everything goes as planned when you need it to, but you just have to keep going, growing, and willing to learn. My kids, boyfriend, family, and friends have really motivated me through it all.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Absolutely not! I want to say one of the biggest struggles I had was staying booked. There would be times throughout my journey were I would be fully booked, and then there would be times when I was not booked at all. In these moments, I had to really push through and not get discouraged but to think of other ways to attract more clients and jump out of my comfort zone.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Professionally I work in the Public Health field, I work helping stop the transmissions of hospital acute infections. I also work as a Photographer who specializes in maternity, family, couple, and graduation photoshoots. I am most proud of being able to show my kids they can be successful in many ways; I have always wanted to show them they can do whatever it is they put their minds to.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
One important lesson I have learned along my journey is the importance of managing my time. Professionally and in my own life. I stay busy all the time, so being able to find a balance is what helped me get as far as I have today.
