Hi Christian, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
I started my photography career around covid and have been continually growing in my craft since. I believe in capturing precious moments in people’s lives and staying as true to the original image as possible.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My time as a photographer has been anything but smooth. I’ve gone months without a gig in sight and lived off of nickels and dimes. That makes me so grateful for where I am now.

I started West Images on the foundations of taking high-quality pictures and capturing special moments in people’s lives so they can save those memories for a lifetime. At the end of the day, I care more about the people in front of the camera rather than making money.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
If you love it keep doing it. Make mistakes, learn from those mistakes, and make more mistakes. That’s how you’ll learn and become better.
