Hi Kevin, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Kevin Finley, Sr., and I am the co-owner of Beckley Medical Supply, LLC… Our staff includes Co-owner Leroy V. Finley Jr and Operations Manager, Kevin Finley II.
We are a family-owned medical supply company located in the heart of Oak Cliff, in the same location for four decades.
In September of 1983, my father, Leroy V. Finley, Sr., established Beckley Medical Supply Company in Dallas, TX after moving from Chicago. His mission was to serve the community with love, compassion, and inspiration.
Our aim is to offer a wide selection of high-quality products at an exceptional value. We provide quality, durable medical and respiratory equipment, supplies, and services to customers, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
Our expertise includes various groups of DMEs, bathroom safety, patient lifts, TENS units, CPAP and nebulizer supplies, wheelchairs, incontinence supplies, and much more. Additionally, we provide equipment repair services and rental equipment. We deliver locally and ship nationwide.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Like many small businesses, we have encountered challenges throughout our 40 years. Our most recent challenge was during the Covid 19 pandemic. Many items were hard to find during that time but due to our 4 decades in business, we used established connections as well as new connections to meet the demand of loyal and new customers. Also, during this time, we suffered two great losses: our founder and Dad and our co-founder’s wife. We had to grieve and adjust schedules while continuing to meet the demand of our customers.

For four decades, our family-owned and operated business has provided a wide range of home medical equipment and supplies to neighborhood families and government entities throughout the Dallas area. With over 40 years of experience, we understand the ins and outs of the industry and are experts in delivering solutions that are customized to fit our customers’ specific situations.
We have continued to provide excellent work for those in need, all while leading with the core values of quality, service, and love. Large selection, easy fast-ordering, pre-assembled products, and an expert staff to find you the right size, style, and product fit is what sets us apart. We are proud to say, in several cases, we have served at least 3 generations of the same family.
How do you define success?
One definition of success is the accomplishment of an aim or purpose. As we celebrate our 40th year, our aim & purpose is to continue serving our customers in excellence with total respect and honesty. Always having their well-being in mind. We feel the evidence of our success is in the thousands of return customers who walk through our doors, trusting us to serve them well. My thing is; a first-time customer makes a decision the moment they leave. “Did I get what I needed? How did they make me feel? Will I be back for more?” Beckley Medical Supply has been blessed that so many have not only made the decision to return but they’ve spread the good word along for decades, allowing us to serve generations. For that, we will forever be grateful. That is success.
