Hi Monique, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
My name is Monique I am a 30-year-old disabled veteran and serial entrepreneur. I run 4 businesses, but my main focus right now is my convenience store dedicated to my late mother and brother. I began my cooking journey when I was 9 years old. Fast forward to 2016, my child’s father was killed, and I was now a soon-to-be single mother of 2. With all the odds against me and no one willing to hire a pregnant lady who needs a flexible schedule. One day a friend of mine tagged me in an Instagram post of a dessert in a mason jar. I tried it and of course, my own twist on it and struck gold. For 16 days straight, I sold out of 60 jars a day. It is now 2023 and I’m so ecstatic to announce I own my own catering business based in McKinney, convenience store in Dallas, several Airbnb properties in Dallas, & a hair business based out of Denton County! God, Hard work, word of mouth and consistent social media marketing got me where I am today! I will be starting a non-profit in January 2024 for single men and felons to help the obtain luxury affordable housing and careers.

The road hasn’t been smooth, but it’s been more than enough. I haven’t worked for corporate America in over 9 years!

My convenience store is most famous for our extensive exictic snack menu. I am a superhost on-air b n b, tip-rated new restaurant on DoorDash, and sell some of the best quality 200% density 13×6 12A wigs! My catering business is known mostly for our unique big-back snacks! We are always thinking of ways to improve. What sets us apart from other is our willingness to go above and beyond on presentation and quality no matter how big or small the order!

If you want to get the reward, take the risk simple! God did not bring you this far just to leave you! It is impossible to make money without spending it! It will not come overnight, maybe not even in months, but be faithful to whatever your passion is and trust it’ll be great enough to support your goals and ideas
