We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Starting the journey for me is always smooth because set-up and start-up is my expertise. Achieving growth becomes challenging, especially when striving for ethical, authentic, and reasonably priced practices. In the current landscape, flash often overshadows ethics and genuine knowledge in hiring decisions within my industry. Despite the temptation to adopt such marketing tactics for rapid growth, I refuse to compromise authenticity or provide misleading information. Consequently, the path to expansion may be slower, but I consistently emphasize to those I work with and coach that not everyone is your audience. Patience, commitment to your mission, and staying true to your purpose will ultimately lead to the success you’re meant to achieve.

We’ve been impressed with Code Pink Productions Inc. & Monique Je’ CEO LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Code Pink Productions Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit that I founded in 2011 (3) organization committed to building a better community by developing the potential of the underserved of our community. We strive to do this through effective action by the leadership of our organization and our trained volunteers. Our goal is to provide these services through a combination of fundraising, federal grants, Arts-related event promotion, mentorships, and service volunteering. Our goal is to provide these services through a combination of fundraising, federal grants, Arts-related event promotion, mentorships, and service volunteering. Code Pink Productions incorporates an appreciation of the Arts, community-based support programs, and trained volunteers to help support women’s medical research health and wellness programs while maintaining the highest level of integrity. We believe that our keys to success include establishing a strong network of support with the parents, school systems, community-based organizations, local churches, local nonprofits, institutions of higher education, and the juvenile/adult court system.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up.
Starting my first business at the age of 12 and using the money that I earned to do things for myself that my mother couldn’t afford to do for me and help do the same for my friends or help them start their own hustle off their own gifts too. My nickname since I was young was “Money” because the adults knew and saw that I was always willing to do work to earn my own money.
