Today we’d like to introduce you to Lindsay Steele.
Hi Lindsay, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I got into photography shortly after I graduated from college with my degree in music. My parents divorced right after I graduated, and photography became a sort of therapy for me. I built my portfolio while I began my teaching career, and after five years of teaching, I dived headfirst into photography full-time.
Since going full-time in 2015, I have put all my focus on portraits, weddings, and creative-styled shoots.
My book “Dream in Color” was published in 2022 and included my creative work from 2014-2022.
I have a studio in downtown Longview where I create most of my creative work.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Yes and no! My passion for photography has been the easiest factor because it has been undying. I love photography more than anything and it gives me the room to dream and create. It’s been hard as far as scheduling and traveling. I tend to lean more on the “workaholic” side with this career.

I specialize in creative portraits, weddings, and portrait photography (studio and on-location)
I’m mostly known for my creative work and my vibrant colors!
I’m most proud of the way my clients feel after they get their portraits back.
I think that my personality, drive, and creativity set me apart from others.

I am a singer and have a degree in music. I taught middle and high school choir for 5 years.
