We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
In no way has the entrepreneurship road been easy; I’ve endured many obstacle blocks throughout the years. Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I was extremely quiet but self-aware of my strong capabilities. As the second oldest of eight children, when people ask where do you get your drive from…? I laugh it off and say I have the oldest child syndrome. I think being the oldest girl sparked a fire of fierceness in me. I always believed I could do anything I put my mind to. My parents were and still are my biggest cheerleaders.
I’ve tried to always be the responsible one; if you’d ask my siblings, I’m sure they would say I’m the parent and sister. I will get on them when my mother won’t, yet I am their biggest cheerleader.
The dynamics of the firstborns are amazing, and if the firstborn is a girl, the sky’s the limit!”
