Hi Alexander, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Chicago native, Pepperdine graduate. Edited for Vitaly (youtuber with 10M subs) and then started my own channel for poker. Grew it to 1.2M subs in 5 years and moved to Dallas in March of last year for new opportunities.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The first 2 years were tough, barely had 10k subs and had to do other things for income. Consistency of posting and high-quality content is what spurred the uptick in views/subs. This past year shorts/reels were announced so I doubled down on them and post 5-6x a week, I’ve noticed a huge impact from those.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I travel around the world playing in casinos/home games and documenting my journey. I’m known for my shorts that bring a comedic element to a normally serious game of poker. I’m most proud of the connections I’ve made along the way. This past year I’ve played poker with NBA, NFL, MMA, MLB, MLS stars!
Any big plans?
I want to own a card room; I want to travel more and play with more interesting people! I want to spread the game of poker to anyone who’s interested and show that it’s a game of skill, not chance!
