Hey there, I’m Kristal Torres, the brains and heart behind Keha Couture Beauty. Let me take you on a journey through my life, where twists, turns, and a whole lot of determination brought me to where I am today. Picture this: a young girl with big dreams of becoming a labor & delivery nurse, absolutely enamored with science. That was me. But life had its own plans, and at 19, I became a mom to three beautiful kids. Did that stop me from pursuing my dreams? Not a chance.
I started as a medical assistant, soaking up every bit of knowledge I could while juggling motherhood and work. But financial struggles led me down a different path, landing me in the automotive industry. Crazy, right? But hey, a mom’s gotta do what a mom’s gotta do.
Even though I was knee-deep in car parts and invoices, my passion for skincare and beauty never faded. I kept learning, kept hustling, all while raising my kids solo. And then something amazing happened. My kids started showing an interest in nails and lashes, sparking an idea in me.
I took a leap of faith and started Keha Couture Beauty from my own home, working day and night while still holding down two jobs. It wasn’t easy, but seeing the smiles on my clients’ faces made every sacrifice worth it.
Fast forward to November 2023, and Keha Couture Beauty was officially born. With a focus on natural and organic ingredients, I wanted to create products that anyone could benefit from. From skincare to makeup, we’ve got something for everyone.
But this is just the beginning. Keha Couture Beauty is more than just a business; it’s a reflection of my journey, my struggles, and my triumphs. And as we continue to grow, my mission remains the same: to help others feel confident and beautiful in their own skin.
