Hi Sammy, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
This is my second go-round on Voyage Dallas. Just to strengthen my story from before, I started this journey and propelled my career by expanding out of Dallas, Texas. Facing obstacles as a teenager made me want to be in charge of my own journey. Music was my only outlet at the time in early college, which kept me level-headed.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I didn’t have the smoothest road; however, I never gave up. I struggled with trying to get booked for shows at the beginning, putting aside money to fund my career financially, and trying to grow an audience that could fund my lifestyle.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m known for being a rapper that is unorthodox yet dominating the underground scene from Dallas, expanding to different states, and making my mark in each state. I am now diversifying the playing field by involving myself in film and television as a film director and writer.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
Being an entertainer since my childhood.
