Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Marias Joyeria started in 2021, the idea is to make sure to keep my mother’s memory alive. My mothers was Maria, unfortunately she passed from cancer in June 2021. She used to sell gold-plated jewelry, so we continued her business. Now, we have expanded and have a location and website. Website is Soluxejaclyn.com. We also have an exclusive group on Facebook named Marias Joyeria and more. We sell jewelry, clothes, and purses.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s been a bumpy road. Anyone starting a business can tell you when you start, you invest a lot of time and money into a dream that not everyone can see. I’ve had my website removed lost a lot of money due to chargebacks, 2 Instagram’s removed. I’ve had many challenges, but we are continuing to grow with the support of many.

Marias Joyeria sells Gold plated and silver 25 jewelry. We also expanded and now sell purses, bags, and shoes.

Well, for starters, I grew this business without a loan, all money that I received from my part-time job. It’s hard, very hard at the beginning. I recommend if you are not using a loan, stick to a part-time job for additional income until you are ready to take on the business full-time. Definitely risky to start off, but the secret to my success is my support system.
