Hi Arte, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Who am I? Well, I’m Eache Arte, and I chose my social media handle based on my government name. It just so happens that the word “Art” is in there, which fits perfectly because my content is all about self-expression, which I consider a form of art. Dancing is one of the main ways I express myself, along with my fashion sense, hairstyles, and makeup looks. I have a big personality, but at the same time, I’m reserved. I’ve always had some sort of social media presence since I was in middle school. Now, I want to take my social media game to the next level and showcase the things I love to do, which is to entertain people and bring laughter. Plus, I want to be someone others can turn to for direction and inspiration.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
In the whirlwind of today’s fast-paced world, carving out a niche while balancing a day job with content creation is like juggling flaming swords—exciting but risky! Staying relevant in the digital realm is like chasing a caffeinated squirrel; you’ve got to be quick and adaptable. And for LGBTQ+ creators, it’s not just about content—it’s about breaking barriers and fostering acceptance, which takes resilience and courage. But hey, in the midst of these challenges, every hurdle overcome is a victory worth celebrating!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My work is a colorful tapestry of creativity, blending dancing, fashion “get ready with me” vids, hair & makeup how-tos, lifestyle vlogs, and even playful skits. I’m like a Swiss Army knife of content creation—versatile and always ready for action! What sets me apart is my ability to dabble in everything under the sun, making me relatable to a diverse audience. I’m most proud of the community I’ve built—one that laughs, learns, and dances along with me on this wild social media journey.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Ah, the elusive mentor hunt! While I don’t have a textbook answer, I do have a secret weapon—a content creator extraordinaire, my older brother! We practically share the same DNA and personality quirks, but he’s a tad ahead in the brand deal game. So, I tap into that sibling synergy for advice. Sometimes, it’s not about casting a wide net; it’s about reeling in the connections closest to you. After all, who knows you better than family? So, when in doubt, leverage those familiar faces and ride the wave of shared expertise!
