Today we’d like to introduce you to Mercedes Rangel.
Hi Mercedes, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
My journey began in 2010 when I immersed myself in everything related to beauty. I started by studying to become a professional stylist in Mexico. Following that, I worked in different beauty salons in the city of San Luis Potosi. Eventually, I discovered my passion and decided to specialize in makeup and hairstyling.
Since 2015, I have attended significant workshops and updates with the best makeup artists and hairstylists from Mexico, Brazil, and the US. Later on, I decided to become certified as a Bridal Specialist. Thanks to this, I have had the honor and privilege of beautifying and styling hundreds of brides on the most important day of their lives, all of whom have trusted in my work.
Through makeup, I’ve had the opportunity to meet personalities such as the First Lady of Guatemala, as well as important influencers, radio hosts, television presenters, and actresses. I have also had the privilege of doing makeup for hundreds of models for various fashion runways.
This year, I was delighted to be chosen as the Beauty Lead for Dallas Fashion Week with The Bureau Fashion Week, organizers of shows in New York, Miami, and LA. Currently, I have a team of makeup artists and stylists in Mexico who offer makeup and hairstyling services under my brand. This achievement in my career brings me great happiness, as it allows me to contribute to providing additional income to my wonderful collaborators, who, like me, are passionate about their work.
Personally, I offer services in Dallas, TX, and I am available to provide services anywhere in the world. I am passionate about what I do, and I am committed to providing excellent makeup and hairstyling services. I continue to educate myself to offer the best of me.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
As a makeup artist, I can honestly say that my journey has been both rewarding and challenging. While there have been many moments of joy and success, there have also been obstacles along the way. One of the main struggles I faced was establishing myself in the industry, especially when I first started. Building a clientele and gaining recognition takes time and effort. I had to work hard to showcase my skills and prove myself to clients and colleagues.
Another challenge was staying updated with the latest trends and techniques. The beauty industry is constantly evolving, and it’s essential to stay ahead of the curve. This meant investing time and resources into attending workshops, training sessions, and keeping up with new products and technologies.
Balancing work and family life was another struggle. Makeup artistry often involves irregular hours, including weekends and evenings, especially during peak seasons like weddings and fashion events. Finding time for family and maintaining a healthy work-life balance was essential to prevent burnout.
Despite these challenges, I am grateful for the opportunities I’ve had and the lessons I’ve learned along the way. Each obstacle has made me stronger and more resilient, and I’m proud of how far I’ve come in my journey as a makeup artist.

We specialize in makeup and hairstyling, and we have been in the industry for over 10 years. We have experience in handling events of great importance, such as weddings and quinceañeras. Thanks to this, we can manage time effectively to ensure that our clients are ready on time for their event. We listen to the needs and preferences of our clients to guarantee their satisfaction, and we are always committed to offering the best of ourselves. I feel proud to be able to positively impact the lives of our clients on such important days in their lives.
