Today we’d like to introduce you to Nalani Cote
Hi Nalani, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My journey from being born and raised in Hawaii to moving to Texas and becoming the owner of Live Hydration Spa in Frisco, has been a testament to myself of the power of determination, passion, and the willingness to embrace change. With over 13 years of experience as a registered nurse, I developed a passion for health and wellness. But, I also dreamed of venturing into entrepreneurship. Despite the comforts of familiarity in living in Hawaii, my husband and I both recognized that Texas offered greater opportunities and resources for both personal and professional growth. It wasn’t an easy decision to uproot our lives and relocate to an entirely new environment, especially with young children and no family support in Texas. However, we took a leap of faith and moved to Frisco in 2021. As we continue to grow and evolve, I am grateful for this journey that continues to unfold. For me, this is just the beginning.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Another significant factor that lead me to further my passion into health and wellness was my son’s battle with severe eczema during infancy. This challenging period presented numerous obstacles, but it also served as a motivator for me to dive deeper into holistic health practices and natural remedies. In hindsight, while the experience was undoubtedly difficult, it ultimately led me to where I am today. It was a silver lining amidst adversity a reminder of the transformative potential that emerges from even the most trying circumstances.
Also, the transition of us moving was challenging, trying to navigate unfamiliar territory and establishing ourselves in a new community. With every business start up comes a myriad of challenges, but how you handle the challenges I feel is what matters.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We currently offer IV therapy, vitamin injections, lab testing, oxygen therapy, Ionic detox footbaths, NAD+ therapy, weight loss programs, and compression therapy. We tailor each person’s therapy to their specific goals because we know that health is not a one size fits all. Whether their goal is increased energy, boost athletic performance, recovery, weight loss, detox, decrease inflammation, improve hydration, anti-aging, increase focus and mental clarity, achieve better skin, boosting immunity, or overall health and wellness maintenance, we take the time to get to know our clients and their story and help to achieve their goals.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
IV therapy has been steadily gaining popularity in recent years, and it’s likely to continue evolving in the future. The possibilities are endless, and there are so many additional services we are planning to add in the future. I am excited for what the future holds.
