Conversations with Deb Terrell

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Deb Terrell.

Deb Terrell

Hi Deb, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for sharing your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
I actually started at a very young age when I was 10 years old, and the path continues today. I just followed my heart. I landed in Agriculture, and there is always something new to learn.

So, the journey has had many twists and turns but continues. As a result, the name of my company is Nature’s Circle. My farm is all about wellness for people, pets, and pet stock.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not always a smooth road. I grow crops that are unique, such as Luffa, Moringa, and Butterfly Pea. Just this year, I was introduced to the comfort plant.

The major challenge that I have had is educating the public on what these crops are and their benefits.

Other challenges would be weather and support from family members.

I appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am an Agriculturalist. I have worked in many fields of agriculture and now have my own business and farm. My farm is a certified Bee Friendly Farm and Monarch Butterfly Waystation.

I am known for the different crops that I grow and my unique farm products. I am a product developer and entrepreneur. I am also a city councilman. I educate and mentor many. This year, I am working with Africa, and we have started The Luffa Farmers and Processors Association.

What sets me apart is the crops I grow and how those crops are utilized.

How do you think about luck?
I do not have any thoughts about luck. What is important to me is always remaining positive and driven.

I like to spread love. When you are loved, you flourish.
