Today we’d like to introduce you to Kyle Krall
Hi Kyle, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started off filming YouTube videos for my brother who would make Micd up pranks. soon after he lost the love for YouTube and I had taking over editing all of his content and found my love for editing . Not too short after I began photography for his baseball team yet again editing all of that and finding this as another hobby a couple months later I got Adobe Photoshop certified and from there everything only began to elevate and this is when i began my brand (Mediabykyle) after that, I made a couple edits for my schools football team posting them on this newly founded Instagram page it got a couple thousand views and hundred likes. I thought this was monumental. and through this, I became friends with the starting football players specifically Raycine Guillory Jr. who definitely provided me with opportunities to go places and gain experience before any of networking skills had been found. I filmed a couple college visits with him and then a commitment video which is now one of my biggest to stay reaching 50,000 on YouTube and around 80,000 on all platforms. I began to meet new people and meet others in this industry. I watched every video there was on YouTube about how to grow a media agency and built portfolio. One year after getting my Photoshop certification I received my Adobe video design, professional certification along with my premier pro one. these are displayed in my portfolio as I started sending mass amounts of emails to company’s recieving od free gigs here and there. As of now i am in a very good place with my conpany
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
for sure, not a smooth road I do not believe just anybody could smoothly gain success in this path I believe you have to be very dedicated and find your love for it, and the success will come however, you cannot give up or be complacent because complacency is the killer to success. My obstacles would be finding original ideas that have potential to spark clientele along with my big leap from free gigs to paid work.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a sports videographer and photographer however, I am pursuing the diversity in my portfolio by learning corporate videography. I am definitely known for having a one off project with a very famous YouTuber and TikTok star. (Notsoairjordan) along with being Raycine Guillory‘s cameraman and editor as we have gained popularity togather and showcased our ability in being an athlete and Creative duo.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
I believe risktaking is the most nerve-racking thing that comes with being an entrepreneur however, you can never make any leaps without a risk. I wouldn’t view myself as a risk taker just as an entrepreneur and that is some thing that comes with the title I believe I have taken a few though, in which one would be deciding when you are going to do something such as take the jump from freelance to paid or win to release certain content because if not now when ? that is what I ask myself if I’m not going to do it now when will I ever?
