Hi Estella, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Dogs Fur Life/Weddings by Dogs Fur Life is turning 3 in July. What started as dabbling in dog care has turned into full-time dog care, which includes our wedding dog attendant service.
My love of dogs is what fuels me and inspires me. We have met the kindest families and amazing dogs. Just recently, my husband joined DFL full-time! We believe our recipe is simple: we care for our fur clients just as we care for our own two dogs, Darby and Leia.
Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
I wouldn’t say easy, but I wouldn’t say hard. Loving dogs and caring for them comes naturally. Learning how to run a small business definitely has a learning curve.

We specialize in caring for dogs, we provide care that is an extension of a dog’s home, with some added structure to our day. Playtime, rest, mental exercise, walks, naps, DogTV and more.
Our wedding dog attendant service provides stress-free dog care during a couple’s wedding day. Providing professional and loving care for the couple’s dog at the wedding helps create amazing memories that will last a lifetime.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
I believe empathy is very important. I put myself in my client’s shoes when they put their trust in me to care for their dogs. As a dog mom, I understand how important it is to have peace of mind when it comes to our precious fur family members.
I communicate with them effectively and am available as a support to them with anything dog related. Being around dogs my whole life I have learned many tips and tricks along the way. In addition I have certifications and courses I take to learn even more, and I am happy to be of support to my clients.
