Hi Anita, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself. I founded Dallas Gift Wrap Creations in 2016 as I saw an opportunity in the market for a year-round pick-up and delivery, over-the-top gift wrapping service. Why must one leave their home or office to have their gifts wrapped? And why can’t the gifts be the most stunning gift-wrapping presentations anyone has ever seen? You’ve taken the time to pick out the perfect gifts, they deserve to be wrapped up in the best! That’s how the idea was born, and that’s when I set out to make this dream a reality. Coupled with the extraordinarily gorgeous gifts, the convenience aspect is huge for our clients. It comes down to opportunity cost; how valuable is your time in not having to leave their your home or having your assistant be taken off a task to get your gifts wrapped. Our clients simply schedule their pick-up with us, and we do all the work. Designing their exclusive look for that specific recipient and occasion and then delivering it back to them, directly to their recipient or shipping it out on their behalf. The design possibilities are infinite, and each gift becomes a unique work of art. This venture truly is a beautiful merger of convenience and art.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I don’t think there’s any business out there that’s had a “smooth road.” I think that’s more of the insta-entrepreneur rhetoric and misconception. Anything that is sustainable and has long-term potential does not occur overnight. At each phase of growth, there is a new set of learning curves. It will be difficult and grueling, and some days, you may wonder what you are actually doing, but stick to it, believe in yourself and your vision!

We are a pickup and delivery gift-wrapping service specializing in over-the-top, perfectly executed gift-wrapping presentations for private and corporate clients. The best way to know we wrapped it is by the exceptional wrapping technique and crisp corners combined with the over-the-top bling accents and toppers. I can confidently say that nobody else is designing gift-wrapping presentations like we are, everything from the remarkable details, precise lines, proportionately centered ribbons, and bows… it’s just so lovely!
Another telltale is our signature double bow technique as pictured in the iconic gift we wrapped for Taylor Swift last December! We are so proud of this very exciting moment for us! We offer pick up and delivery, shipping, and on-site gift-wrapping services. Location is not a factor, as we can shop on behalf of our clients, wrap and ship out, as well as receive them at our location in the WTC.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you? Growing up, I was a very happy kid. My family and I immigrated to the United States after the war in former Yugoslavia began. Although my parents, Nermina and Goran, struggled when we first moved to the States, there was no shortage of love and support. From the time I can remember, they instilled in me the concept that I can accomplish anything I set my mind to… and I am forever grateful for that. My natural curiosity and belief that truly anything is possible have been the pillars of my success with DGWC.
