Hi Maronica, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Maronica, and I am the owner of MK Organic Hair Products. The M is for Maronica, and the K stands for my son Krue. I created organic hair products so that everyone can feel comfortable wearing their own hair.
Mk is something special and has been a blessing to so many people. Products are handmade with natural ingredients. My products are currently located in 20 beauty outlets in numerous states. The goal is to go worldwide. We are making our way.
We all face challenges, but would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. Being an entrepreneur is not for the weak. You have to be fully dedicated and willing to take on all the challenges that come your way.
I currently still work a 9-5. Until God says otherwise. I think my only challenge is that I would love to visit all the stores where my products are sold. I’m not able to due to me working a 9-5, but this is something I have to do at the moment.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar with what you do, what can you tell them about what you do?
I create my products by hand, and I have been thrilled to witness my business grow over the years.
Initially focusing on crafting organic hair oil and butter, it has made a significant impact on the industry.
My products have truly transformed the lives of many individuals.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
One of the lessons I learned on this journey is that you can’t satisfy and please everyone. Be thankful for the journey, and praise God in advance. Never rush the process. Always trust his plans.
