Today we’d like to introduce you to Briana Pass.

Briana Pass

Hi Briana, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Greetings, I started writing one summer in 2013 before my Junior year of Highschool. I was 16 at the time and super bored haha. All I could think about was doing something inspiring for myself and others in this world. On top of that I was at a age where fairytale love was important. You know like a good crush you dream about while falling asleep to old school music. Sitting at the table thinking to myself, how I could come up with a story and in this story I can control the beginning, middle and end? I will always find my true love because in my head and in my story I wanted to be kept, loved and appreciated. I wanted to prove that fantasies are possible. So I then wrote a Love Story called KillA, but it didn’t get published until June 2021 and was re-edited with a finale version on September 11, 2023. My book KillA also has a promotional song. the song is also named KillA. I wrote it and sung it. That song is available on all platforms. Between 2021- 2024 I’ve published 7 books some collaborations with my stepson, and in progress of working on two at this time. I grew better within time. I plan to make a difference in my community and more with my leadership skills.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Writing is not a smooth road all the time it takes a lot of patience, faith and creativity. I love writing so making money is a nonfactor for me if I’m blessed to make a profit that’s fine, but I’m okay if I don’t make much. Some challenges I encounter in being an Author is exposure and having writers block. Organic support is hard to find because you don’t see a lot of people my age wanting to pick up a book so right now I’ve been networking and seeking a community that loves to read. Getting writers block is nerve wrecking especially when you had a publish goal date, If you’re unable to complete your book in a timely manner it makes you feel like you’re not working hard enough, but at the same time when you care about your craft you don’t want to rush it.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a proud Author, I’ve found something that I can grow in to each and everyday. My creativity is very impressive as so I’ve been told. What sets me apart from others is that I do all of my own promotion such as websites, business card design, graphics, art covers and even professional photos for my name as a whole brand. I am a real entrepreneur.

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
The most major risk I’ve done in life is going to another state for surgery, because I had no other option that would be effective enough for my health,
