Hi Maria and Illia, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
One day Illia and I decided to open a small event space in Fort Worth. After pandemic people realized that celebrations can be intimate and it’s absolutely not necessary to ask everyone you know to come to your party, but instead share your special day with closest friends and family. We started 2,5 years ago with our first location at 1200 W Magnolia Ave, where we host parties up to 40 people and expanded one year ago to the second location at 707 W Vickery Blvd for parties up to 60 guests. Magnolia has more feminine vibe, there we host mostly baby and bridal showers. Vickery is great for birthdays and dance parties. But we adore both places and ready to host everyone.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
We don’t think there can be a smooth road if you are a small business owner. Every day there are a little battles and a small wins. Sometimes things don’t go exactly as we want, then we fake it until we make it right.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about IMSpaces?
As I mentioned before IMSpaces is two small event spaces in the heart of Fort Worth. We are hourly rented spaces for any celebration or creative, business project. Both spaces have lounge furniture and decoration setup, Vickery space has formal seating included in rent, so guests just bring their food and drinks, places are ready to celebrate. We are well known for hosting beautiful baby and bridal showers. Twice a year we put together unique Christmas decoration and Spring flower arrangement for the photo shoots, setups are time limited and never the same. Follow us on Instagram for the updates.
