Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
As a young girl I always dreamt of my own business. I harbored grand aspirations. It all began with my passion for creating mums, shirts, relishing the creativity in decorating and hosting parties for family and friend, just enjoying the art of decorations. With all the activities I did, I found myself constantly needing to rent table and chairs. This led me to start a rental business Desairee Design & Event Rental where I offered tables, chairs, bounce houses, margarita machine, popcorn machine and snow cone machines. As clients also sought my decorating services, I expanded into decor design. Eventually, I realized the necessity of having my own venue to avoid relying on others. In March of this year, I achieve my goal and became a proud venue owner of Desairee Event Venue. The venue is 7,784sq ft. It has two ballrooms. 3D Ballroom it can host up to 115 guest.
Edna Ballroom can host up to 215 guest.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been a challenging journey. navigating obstacles, skepticism, balancing a full-time job, other businesses and fulfilling roles as a wife, mother and grandmother. Throughout it all, my determination remained unwavering. Despite uncertainties about the profitability of my investment, my passion continued to drive my progress. My goal was to be that go to person and to introduce exclusive luxury items that wasn’t currently available in Fort Worth, even if it entails financial sacrifices through reallocating funds between my businesses. Taking essential steps to expand its reach, finance played a significant role in my ambition to bring luxury items to Fort Worth.

I am a decorator, event and wedding planner, and venue owner. Our services cover weddings, baby showers, corporate events, engagement parties, church events and more. We excel in crafting unforgettable experience, offering balloon decor, backdrops, linens, centerpieces,marquee letters, luxury chairs, and tables. Our events leave a lasting impression on clients, who talking about them for years. I take pride in maintaining focus, avoiding distractions, and achieving my ultimate goal of owning a venue. What’s sets us apart is being your all-in-one solution, providing everything and anything you need for your event in-house.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
Some of favorite childhood memories include going to church singing in the choir,playing sports, and spending quality time with family.
