Hi Jawad, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m originally from Wisconsin, where I grew up with an art teacher for a mom and a geologist for a dad. Being surrounded by both art and science from a young age sparked my passion for both. I used to help my mom get ready for her art classes, which taught me a lot about creativity and paying attention to details. After getting a business degree from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee, I decided to combine my love for art and science in a new way.
I took a big leap and applied to Charles University in Prague, where Albert Einstein once taught. It was a challenging but exciting journey. During my eight years in Prague, I earned a DMD degree and developed a unique approach to dentistry, influenced by the European focus on conservative tooth preservation. Those years really honed my skills and expanded my views on patient care.
When I got back to the U.S., I tackled the Advanced Standing DDS program at The University of Oklahoma. It was a tough program, but I found it rewarding and even got into local activities like tornado watching. My background in art and the education I received at OU helped me sharpen my attention to detail and sparked my interest in cosmetic dentistry.
I’m always committed to staying on top of my game, which is why I’ve completed over 200 hours of advanced training in implant placement, restorative techniques, and smile design. My practice focuses on putting patients first and creating a supportive, comfortable environment.
When I’m not at work, I love exploring new places, spending time with my family, staying active, cooking, and indulging in my passion for cars and motorsports, especially Formula 1.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My journey has had its fair share of challenges. Deciding to leave my home in Wisconsin and study in Europe was a big leap. I had to get used to a new culture and language while navigating the tough curriculum at Charles University. My eight years in Prague were intense, with late-night study sessions and hands-on training. I followed the typical path at Charles University, spending the first half of my degree in medical school with a focus on head, neck, and throat. I even got to help out with a couple of births during my OBGYN rotation!
When I came back to the U.S., I jumped into the competitive Advanced Standing DDS program at The University of Oklahoma. Balancing the demanding coursework with personal life was tricky, but my passion for dentistry kept me going through the tough times.

Success, to me, is far more than professional accolades or financial milestones. It’s about the profound impact I can make on my patients’ lives through the art and science of dentistry. These principles have guided me throughout my journey, from studying business at the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee to earning my DMD degree at Charles University in Prague, and finally completing my Advanced Standing DDS degree at The University of Oklahoma.
Success is seeing the confidence return to a patient’s face when they smile, knowing that I’ve played a part in that transformation. It’s about constantly evolving and mastering the latest techniques and advancements, which is a large part of why I believe in on-going continued education to ensure I can offer the best care possible.
True success lies in the relationships I build with my patients. It’s about creating a welcoming, supportive environment where each patient feels valued and understood. I take immense pride in the trust my patients place in me and the long-term relationships that develop as a result.
