Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeffery Charles Burns
Hi Jeffery Charles, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My business was inspired by the passing of my mother in 2022. Durning this time, I began growing watermelons for my family, and one day while sitting in my backyard garden, I had a vision of my mother in heaven. I was so moved that I ran in the house to tell my wife about the experience.
From my experience, I decided to name my garden Heaven’s Garden and asked God how I could use the watermelons to honor my mother, which led to the creation of our business.
The name of our drinks are inspired by the Bible and we seek to spread the gospel of Christ through our business.
Our frozen drinks were created for the entire family to enjoy. In 2023, we were honored to win first place in the category for the best food truck by the Tyler Metro Chamber of Commerce. Our frozen drinks are truly heavenly.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a smooth journey, but it has definitely been a blessed one. There were many days when I didn’t know where the money were coming from to operate my business. However, God has always provided everything I needed and more.

My work is ministry. It gives me a inner peace knowing we are changing lives daily through our frozen drinks business.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I was often seen as the kid who wouldn’t amount to much. Growing up with a speech impediment, placed in special education, and at the bottom of my graduating class, I doubted whether I would even gradate.
However, through God’s grace and my determination, I persevered and began preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God has never left me nor forsaken me, and I am commited to sharing the Gospel with as many people as possible.
