Today we’d like to introduce you to Aya Jones
Hi Aya, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I was 6 months pregnant with my son when i started doing lashes.. it started as a distraction so that i didn’t think about the things i was going through with my baby father at the time.. I became interested since i’d been getting my lashes done for a couple years… I bought a bunch of lash supplies and began practicing on people close to me.. i watched videos and learned about proper application and technique. I started to get good and i enrolled into a school in order to get my license… i became a licensed lash tech and also opened my own lash studio called Lash Logicc… i started out lashing in 4-5 hours now it takes me about 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours! i’ve been working on building consistent clientele but the clients who do come to me consistently are very satisfied! My dream is to eventually open my own lash school & possibly start a lash line…
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
i got a little discouraged when i was starting out because i felt as if i wouldn’t improve.. i kept practicing and every client i noticed a difference… i always provide my clients with the best service along with quality work… it leaves them always coming back !
We’ve been impressed with Lash Logicc, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I specialize in lashes.. i apply lashes while also caring about the health of my clients natural lashes.. I feel like what sets me apart from other lash techs is that i always educate my clients.. i teach them about why aftercare is important and i always explain to them things i do while completing their service..
