Sutona, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
During the pandemic everyone was trying to figure out how to make extra money or start a hobby that could keep them busy during lock down. Well, I’m everyone lol…
I started cooking.
I would prepare recipes that I found online, copy cat recipes from my favorite restaurants and old family gems.
Once the stay at home order lifted I took my passion for not only cooking but also eating outside. I started posting content from local restaurants on TikTok and one video after the next started to go viral.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
As a content creator one of the main struggles for me is staying consistent and ahead of the trends while also maintaining authenticity.
I also shifted from just food content due to health reasons, so it’s been hard transitioning and showing up as my whole self and not being so niched down to a “ food blogger “ but it’s been working and I’m so thankful.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I work as an Executive Assistant and Social Media Manager by day and at night I focus on content creation.
I create restaurant, lifestyle and experience content for local businesses to help with marketing and social media presence.
I think most people know me for my story telling approach and voiceovers. I make people feel like they too can experience and have a good time right in their own neighborhoods. I am the queen of a lux staycation and restaurant experience and I’m not a gatekeeper.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
Honestly, my biggest supporters have been my followers. Every like, share and comment etc. always launches me forward and right into the views of my next client. I’m so appreciative!
