Meet Aryssa Jimenez of DFW WRAP LAB

Today we’d like to introduce you to Aryssa Jimenez

Hi Aryssa, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I have been in the wheels and tire industry for almost a decade. In 2021 my spouse and I were hit by an 18 wheeler. 2 years later we were able to settle and allowed me to open my current shop. I was able to hire friends and family and in just 6 months are already looking to expand. I’m the first woman owned wrap shop in Arlington. And soon will have a second location in dallas. I hope to inspire more women to join the auto world.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The hardest part was finding a good team. I am a new business owner and shop. There will be ups and downs. Finding the right people to trust you and your business is a big deal. Also, not having a huge bank back you. Every sale every customer means the world to us. It can mean the rent being paid or someone’s school supplies being bought.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about DFW WRAP LAB?
We are a customization shop that specializes in car wrapping, starlight headliners, underglow, ambient lighting, window tint, wheels and tires. We also special order coilovers and wide body kits. We offer financing for the wraps as well as everything else. We are known for pushing out the brightest colors in DFW. We work with a range of brands to fit everyone’s needs. I’m proud at the fact that I’m the first business owner in my family and I was able to do it in an Industry I love. I want all of dfw to know that we are a family here. We do more than car stuff, we donate and do many pop up events to help the community and others.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
That you cannot STOP. No days off. People think that just because I own a business now I can sit back and do nothing. It’s the exact opposite. I make sales in my sleep. If you ever go into business for yourself, only rely on YOU. And NEVER count on money you don’t have .
