Today we’d like to introduce you to Katrina Gallagher
Hi Katrina, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
While living abroad in Singapore, we were encouraged to open a practice that focused on women and children, as my practice had great success with helping families conceive, manage comfortable pregnancies, and experience positive births and postpartum recoveries. Initially, my practice was largely businessmen and businesswomen but we started to see more and more children, as parents learned how structural weaknesses from falls and the birth process can lead to and speed up the degenerative process. Before long, over 40% of the practice was being seen for scoliosis. After witnessing such great results with people suffering from symptoms of digestive issues and menstrual irregularities to disrupted sleep and autoimmune disorders, I realized there was a better way of improving the overall function of our bodies. Chiropractic was more than relieving back pain and headaches. I was inspired to start having my husband, Cory, adjust me the way I was adjusting my patients, as I had not had a menstrual cycle by the time I was 28! Two months later I had my first menstrual cycle. Two cycles later, we were pregnant with our daughter, Isla. This journey is what prompted us to begin a practice that caters to women’s needs, particularly with perinatal and perimenopausal hormone changes. Triada is a framework designed with faith, food, and function in mind. We address neurological interference due to stresses along the joints of the spine and pelvis by gently applying specific pressure to mobilize and restore proper function of the joints. Babies as young as hours old benefit from reducing tension caused by traumas during the birth process; this helps with sleep, latch, tight neck (torticollis), head shape (plagiocephaly, brachycephaly), colic, reflux, and constipation, to name but a few. We work with many of the area’s providers, such as ob/gyns, midwives, pediatricians, lactation consultations, dentists, ENTs, myofascial / myofunctional therapists, physical therapists, and occupational therapists. Our approach is to support our families by working together as a team to achieve their health goals.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
My husband, Cory, is from New York, and I am from Pennsylvania. We went to school in the northeast before moving to Singapore in 2012. When we decided to move to DFW, people thought we were crazy, as we had never even visited. let alone set foot in Texas! We prayed and followed the doors that opened. It has been absolutely amazing to see Triada grow and serve so many families in our community. Truly meant to be!
We’ve been impressed with Triada Chiropractic, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Triada is a framework I designed as a Webster-certified prenatal and SOT pediatric provider, as well as clinical nutritionist and doula.

How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
We offer monthly workshops, showcasing our referral partners! This is a great way for the community to learn something new, while getting the providers name and services out there.
I absolutely love educating others and am carving out more time to speak at events. Once people know better, they can do better. Please ask how I can be a part of your next event, or how we can organize one together!
