Hi Dr. Chris Taylor & Dr. Rachel Spicer , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Redeemed Chiropractic – we are a husband and wife clinic that started in July of 2022, after the birth of our first son. There were multiple reasons we decided to open, but most importantly we wanted to have a good family/work life balance in the future. We believe family is so important and wanted to create a flexible work schedule that allowed us the freedom to prioritize our family. Another reason for starting our own business was that after the birth of our son Luke, Rachel had unplanned postpartum complications which caused her to take a 6 month maternity leave. During this time of recovery the Lord opened the door for us to leave our previous job to then open Redeemed Chiropractic. During Rachel’s unplanned maternity leave she had plenty of time to build the business. She built the website, opened an LLC, did all the necessary tax information, got involved in the community, marketed, and did many other things to help get our business off the ground. Meanwhile, Chris was finishing his obligations at our previous place of employment to fulfill the commitments he had previously made. From there Redeemed Chiropractic blossomed into what it is today. Our family owned business is more than we could have ever imagined. We have the distinct opportunity to serve so many families, pregnant moms and pediatrics through chiropractic care. We believe a well adjust family is a well connected family.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Overall opening Redeemed Chiropractic has been a smooth road with lots of hard work and faith. Some of the challenges we faced were: starting over with building a new client base, trusting the right people would find us and not being fearful in this step of Faith. Presently, we are having to balance entertaining/taking care of a toddler, while expecting our second baby. A new transition will be owning a business plus growing our family from three to four.
As you know, we’re big fans of Redeemed Chiropractic . For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
We are a husband and wife clinic that specializes in prenatal, pediatric, and overall family wellness care. Dr. Chris Taylor has an Athletic training background from Liberty University. He enjoys weightlifting and sports and loves serving that population. Dr. Taylor offers dry needling and muscle work sessions along with the adjusting in the same visit. He has undergone extensive training in dry needling. Dr. Rachel Spicer has a Division I gymnastics background from the University of Florida. She loves sports and family time. Since becoming a mom she loves serving the mom and pediatric population through chiropractic care. Both providers have extensive training in prenatal care and are both Webster certified in chiropractic pregnancy protocols. Redeemed Chiropractic is set apart from other offices as we use a team approach being a husband and wife. We love serving the entire family. Many times Dr. Taylor and Dr. Spicer will end up taking care of the same families depending on the patient’s schedule and flexibility. Many of our families love to see both Dr. Taylor and Dr. Spicer which is very helpful with scheduling. It is fun to have a family practice and we are very proud of it. We want potential new patients to know anyone and everyone can benefit from chiropractic care and we would love to serve you and help you. You don’t have to have neck and low back pain to see a chiropractor. Chiropractic is a nervous system reset and we look at your entire system to see where stress might be underlying. Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Both Dr. Taylor & Dr. Spicer had very supportive parents who were always there for all of the sporting events, education achievements, or life’s challenges. This favorite childhood memory motivates this husband and wife team to set their family life up to be there for their own kids while running a small business.
