From a young age, I knew I wanted to work in the pet industry. My journey began with pet sitting, where I discovered how deeply rewarding it was to form personal connections with my clients and their pets. This initial experience led me to explore the daycare and boarding industry, and it became clear that I had found my true passion. I loved engaging with dogs of all personalities—whether they were shy and needed extra patience or outgoing and eager for attention. Each dog had its own unique charm, and I cherished getting to know them on a personal level.
When I met my partner, Daniel Gandy, I was thrilled to learn that he shared the same enthusiasm and vision for working with pets. Our shared values and goals inspired us to combine our skills and passions, leading us to start our own business. And that’s how Woof Pack Stay & Play was born. It’s been an exciting journey, and I’m grateful every day for the opportunity to do what I love and make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, but we’ve worked really hard and never lost our determination. We ran into some issues with our building and permits, which pushed back our opening—definitely a setback. But we chose to see it as a blessing in disguise, giving us extra time to fine-tune everything for our grand opening.
We still have a few ongoing projects, like adding murals to each playroom, expanding the turf in our outdoor areas, and revamping our second wing of suites. We’re tackling these improvements in phases and taking our time to make sure everything turns out just right.

We’re a family-owned luxury dog boarding and daycare facility, and we’re all about giving your pup a truly personalized experience. Our small scaled facility lets us focus on each dog, whether they’re a high-energy bundle of joy or a laid-back snuggler.
Our place is designed for comfort and quality. With 6,200 square feet of indoor space and 3,500 square feet outside, there’s plenty of room for dogs to play, explore, and relax. Our rooms and outdoor areas are cozy and secure, perfect for both socializing and chill time.
What makes us different? It’s our dedication to providing a more personalized touch than you’ll find at big corporate chains. With 10 years in the pet service industry, we specialize in catering to each dog’s unique needs, offering top-notch accommodations that go beyond the usual concrete and chain-link enclosures. Our pricing reflects the exceptional care and quality we provide.
We truly believe in the magical bond between humans and dogs—a connection built on trust, loyalty, and unconditional love. Caring for dogs isn’t just a job for us; it’s a calling. Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
One of my favorite childhood memories involves my two childhood dogs, Daisy and Duke, who have since passed away due to old age. They were these huge, high-energy standard poodle/collie mixes, and they brought so much joy to my life. I loved taking them for walks, but it was usually more like they were taking me for a walk! They’d drag me down the road with such enthusiasm that it felt like I was being pulled along on a wild ride.
I also used to sneak them inside the house when my parents weren’t around. It was always a bit of a gamble, but seeing their happy faces and having them curled up on the couch made it all worth it. Even though their excitement sometimes made it a bit of a challenge to keep up, I never minded. I was just thrilled to be out with them or having them close by inside. Those walks and secret snuggles are some of my fondest memories from growing up. They remind me of the special bond between a person and their dogs and how much joy they can bring into our lives.
Pricing:
- Daycare is $30 for a full day (5+ hours) and $25 for a half day (less than 5 hours)
- Luxury Boarding is $70 a night
- We offer multipet discounts for daycare and boarding
- We have daycare packages for single pets and multipet use
- We offer bathing services, but not full grooms like haircuts/trimming
