Hi Jordan, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
One day in 2021 I happened to be doing some Spring cleaning and decided to detail my own car. I bought a couple of supplies from local stores and got to it. I don’t know what came over me but I suddenly got the idea of creating my own side hustle out of it. I’ve always had an entrepreneurial mind. Even in elementary school I was selling home-baked brownies and candy and in high school I was determined to create my own clothing brand (which I also own). I guess it hit me that I could profit off of a service I was apparently good at and that is when I fell into the auto detail rabbit hole. Detailing for my very first client put some fire under me and ever since then I’ve grown more into my skill, learned important lessons about business, and made amaing relationships with people across the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Starting a business defintiely isn’t a smooth road. It is challenging but rewarding when you overcame obstacles and discouragments. Some of the struggles I dealt with at first were marketing, lack of skill, and self doubt. These struggles will come regardless of what your mission is but I think an advantage I had is the fact that I was young and stubborn. I had room to make mistakes and I took it personally when challenges seemed to be telling me I’m not good enough. Over time I”ve grown to learn that you can either dwell on insecurity or you can use it as an energy source towards improvement.

Detailed By Jpatt is a mobile car detailing business I created in 2021. I speciailize in detailing the interior and exterior of vehicles. I also specialize in paint work such as paint correction and ceramic coatings. According to my clientele I am known to be tedious, skilled, friendly, and professional. I believe what sets me apart from other is my demeanor and my friendly attitude towards clients but of course my work sets me apart by itself. I’ve come to be most proud of my social platform and how I show my work but I am also confident about my willingness to serve others and give them the best results possible. I would like readers to know that their vehicle is in safe hands with me and new clients get 20% their first appointment! I have a wide array of services such as carpet and upholstery shampoo or even engine bay detailing.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up I was called a fireball by my parents. I also grew up the middle child between a younger sister and an older brother. I was pretty diligent in school but was either a class clown or nerd. I always had an interest in business and that led up to being what I would get my bachelors in. At 24, I’m interested in self-improvement, my relationship with God, the growth of my business, and growing my relationships with friends, my partner, and those who help me grow into a better man.
