Today we’d like to introduce you to Little Dream Play
Hi Little Dream Play, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Had some inspiration from some small businesses. Saw that they were able to spend most of the week with their families and little ones. As a new mom, I wished I could do something like that. When I reached out to ask for advice, they even encouraged me to start my own business! I asked my 2 sisters if they would like to work together. My sisters and I have been through alot in life, from moving countries in our teenage years, to losing our mom. It made us grow up, be resilient and taught us to lean on each other. My parents always used to say, “friends will come and go but your siblings will always be there for you”, And I can’t say they were wrong. It is so much fun to have this business with them, we are literally best friends and each have their own strengths.
We started with just a couple of soft play ball pits, balls, and mats. Now we’ve added backdrops and balloons! I believe we were made for this business because we appreciate quality and that’s exactly what we bring to our clients events. We love a beautiful party that will be memorable for each family we serve.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
A struggle we continue to deal with is that, we are “live in the moment” kind of people. It’s so hard for us to capture pictures or videos in the middle of living life. But being a business owner you have to market your products. We struggle with having to social media manage. It’s difficult because we all are not very active on social media but it’s where clients find your business.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Little Dream Play?
We are an event planner we rent equipment such as, soft play backdrops, and balloons. We are 3 sisters, moms, and best friends that truly want our clients to be wowed with the amazing work we have for their events. We are genuine women who really want to take the pressure and stress off of other moms who are planning their little ones events. We are very easy to work with and will always strive to make their dreams be a reality. I believe what sets us apart is our customer care, we become friends with all of our clients and it just becomes a huge network of beautiful people that work together.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Some advice would be is to just reach out to those who inspire you. You will be surprised how supportive other entrepreneurs are.
