Inspiring Conversations with Isabelle Rangel of styledxbelle

Today we’d like to introduce you to Isabelle Rangel

Hi Isabelle, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I was very lost if im honest. I always loved art but I never saw more to it. Until a friend of mine was talking to
me about cosmetology school. I remember researching it and I was obsessed. I knew that’s what I wanted. So after high school I attended cosmetology school. I graduated and received my license. I was so proud of myself and excited for my new journey. I started working at a salon to gain experience but also confidence behind the chair. I learned so much just being around so much talent. The girls that taught me so much will forever hold a special place in my heart. I now am a business owner to “styledxbelle LLC” for a year now. I am so grateful for this being my career. I love what i get to do. But also what I get to do for so many girls

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I definitely don’t think it was a smooth ride. When I was in cosmetology school covid happen. My in person classes became online. It was so hard trying to stay motivated when I wasn’t allowed to attend class for an on hand school. I became very discouraged thinking i had made a mistake. That this was a sign that i shouldnt be doing this.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about styledxbelle?
I specialize in blondes and healthy hair.
I think having healthy hair is number one priority always. I try to be as honest and transparent with all my clients when I know something can’t be achievable at the moment. I like to do a game plan instead to get there. I will always prioritize my girls hair. I rather they be upset at me because i say not right now to color than upset because i ruined their hair. I pride myself in being able to say no. Not everyone can be honest. Honesty can be hard. But Ive had my hard share of traumas with my hair. I dont want to be that person to someone but someone they can trust fully.

How do you define success?
Success to me is being able to make a difference in someones life. I use to think it was having money and the biggest house. But being in this industry has shown me how much more rewarding my job is. Being able to make girls feel so beautiful after a service. Or simply just being their therapist in an appointment. The fulfillment i feel is something money could never do.
