Inspiring Conversations with Jasmine Sadry of No Puppet Productions

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Sadry

Hi Jasmine, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey began in the world of sports broadcasting over 20 years ago, where I honed my skills as a reporter and host, navigating the fast-paced environment of live radio and television. Over the years, my passion for storytelling and connecting with audiences led me to explore new avenues, including podcasting.

With each opportunity, I learned the importance of adaptability and resilience, which fueled my transition into the podcasting world. From co-hosting my own podcasts to working on exciting projects with “The Dumb Zone” and “The Mom Game”, every step has been a blend of hard work, passion, and a relentless drive to keep evolving in this ever-changing media landscape.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but that’s what makes the journey so rewarding, right?

Starting in sports talk/TV- was a whole new challenge—breaking into a male-dominated industry meant proving my knowledge, credibility, and passion for sports every single day. The pressure was intense, but it pushed me to be better. Transitioning into music radio, I had to learn how to connect with listeners on an emotional level, making sure each song and segment resonated with the audience. Moving into news talk/TV brought its own set of challenges, especially when tackling sensitive or complex topics. Balancing accuracy, fairness, and engagement while keeping the audience informed was no small feat.

Each genre taught me something different, and the struggles—whether it was breaking through stereotypes, dealing with industry changes, or simply finding my voice—shaped me into the broadcaster I am today and the lens I look through when I’m producing content or even how I approach business.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
