My journey began 7 years ago in the beauty industry, driven by a passion for enhancing natural beauty. Over time, I honed my skills, specializing in eyelash extensions, lash lifts, and brow lamination. This passion led me to open my own salon suite, Xiomara Studio, located in Oak Cliff, Dallas, where I’ll be offering these services starting September 9th.
The idea behind Xiomara Studio is to create a space where clients can feel confident and beautiful in their own skin. Looking ahead, I’m excited to introduce new services like mini facials and continue growing in this field. It’s been a rewarding path, combining my professional skills and personal interests, and I’m eager to see what the future holds!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I’d say the road to where I am today has been anything but smooth. Like many in the beauty industry, I’ve faced my share of challenges, but each one has played a crucial role in shaping who I am and where Xiomara Studio is today.
One of the biggest challenges was gaining the confidence to step out on my own. It took time to build a loyal clientele, and there were moments of doubt and uncertainty along the way. Another hurdle was navigating the business side of things—finding the right location, managing finances, and ensuring that I could create a space that truly reflected my vision.
The beauty industry itself is incredibly competitive, so staying ahead of trends while maintaining my unique style and values has been a constant balancing act. But these challenges have taught me resilience and the importance of staying true to my passion for enhancing natural beauty.
In the end, every obstacle has been a lesson that has helped me grow personally and professionally. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and I’m excited to continue this journey.
