Conversations with Julio Torres

Today we’d like to introduce you to Julio Torres

Hi Julio, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
“I began my journey in the U.S. Army, which deeply shaped my values and work ethic. After serving, I transitioned into civilian life and started a podcast, The XRAY Podcast, where I dive into important conversations about leadership, resilience, and current events. Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to interview influential people, from veterans to entrepreneurs, sharing their powerful stories. My goal has always been to inspire others by highlighting the lessons and experiences of those who have made a difference.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. Transitioning from military life to civilian life presented challenges, especially in finding my next path and purpose. Starting my podcast came with its own hurdles—learning new technology, building an audience from scratch, and managing the ups and downs of creating content. But the struggles taught me resilience and adaptability, which have been crucial in growing the platform. Every setback has been a learning experience that pushed me to improve and keep going.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My work focuses on The XRAY Podcast, where I host in-depth conversations with veterans, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders. I specialize in exploring leadership, resilience, and personal growth. I’m most proud of the diverse range of guests I’ve interviewed, from military heroes to successful business owners. What sets me apart is my perspective as a U.S. Army veteran, which allows me to connect with my guests on a deeper level and share stories that inspire and inform my audience.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Life is too short! Be happy, be kind, be loving and serve others
